Sannyas Day Retreat
🌸 Osho Sannyas Day Celebration & Meditation Retreat 🌸
A 3-Day Journey of Meditation, Love, and Inner Celebration
Come together to celebrate the birth of Osho’s neo-sannyas—a heartfelt invitation to live with greater awareness, freedom, and joy. Over three immersive days, explore meditation, deepen your connection with yourself, and celebrate in the company of fellow seekers.
💙 Suitable for beginners and experienced meditators alike. No prior meditation experience is required—just come with an open heart and a willingness to explore.
Why We Celebrate Sannyas Day
On September 26, 1970, during a meditation camp in Manali in the Himalayas, Osho initiated his first group of neo-sannyasins. This marked the beginning of his neo-sannyas movement, bringing a fresh vision of meditation and conscious living. Historical source
Osho’s invitation was to let meditation flower within everyday life—in our work, relationships, families, and creativity. His vision embraced both inner silence and the fullness of living.
For us as disciples, sannyas is a deeply personal connection of love and trust with the master. It is opening our hearts to his guidance, allowing his teachings to reach us at a deeper level, and embracing our own journey of awakening.
We celebrate this day in gratitude, renewing our commitment to meditation and remembering the courage and joy of saying yes to the inner journey.
What Is This Retreat?
This three-day retreat offers time and space to step away from daily routines and turn inward. Through Osho’s active, silent, and sound meditations, we will explore movement and stillness, expression and observation, celebration and rest.
Whether you are discovering Osho for the first time or deepening an established practice, you are warmly welcome.
A Supportive Space to Explore
Practice in a welcoming, nonjudgmental environment where you can be yourself. Experienced facilitators will guide each session, helping you explore the techniques at your own pace and become more attentive to your body, emotions, and inner experience.
Meditations Include
- Active meditations: Osho Dynamic, Nataraj, Chakra Breathing, and Kundalini.
- Silent and sound meditations: Nadabrahma, Chakra Sound, White Robe evening meditation, and Sleep Meditation.

Together, these practices offer different doorways into presence, relaxation, and self-discovery.
